On 23 August 2020, all E-way Commercial customers became Linkt commercial customers. This means some new benefits for your business, including lower fees, flexible payment options, and a better digital experience when managing your account online. There are some key changes to company details and invoicing files that you’ll need to pass on to relevant team members.

How do I manage my invoicing?

You’ll start receiving three file types for each invoice—PDF, CSV and raw files. To help manage your invoicing, we’re sharing a copy of the data specifications for Linkt invoices. We hope that sharing this will help provide you with a smooth transition to the way Linkt supplies its trip and payment data.

Vehicle type

All vehicles, except for motorcycles, have been migrated over with the class of 'Car'. This is true for both Class A vehicles (typically cars and motorcycles) and Class B vehicles (typically trucks and other heavy vehicles).

Motorcycles will be listed with the class of 'Motorcycle'.

This label will not affect how tolls are charged.

As your vehicle passes through each toll point roadside equipment scans and measures its length and height. This information is used to determine vehicle class. Find out more about vehicle classes.

  • Why has E-way changed to Linkt?

Why has E-way changed to Linkt?

Last year, E-way became part of the Transurban Group. E-way customers have now been transitioned across to Transurban’s retail brand, Linkt, rather than Transurban managing two separate retailers. By becoming Linkt, E-way customers will benefit from some lower fees, more flexible payment options and a better digital experience when managing their account online.

  • Can I remain an E-way customer?

Can I remain an E-way customer?

All current E-way accounts will become Linkt accounts in August 2020. You won’t be able to remain an E-way customer. If you do not wish to become a Linkt customer, you’ll need to contact E-way to close your account.

If you close your E-way account you’ll need to make sure you set up a toll account or pass with another tolling retailer in order to pay for tolls.

From 23 August 2020, Tollaust Pty Limited, a member of the Transurban Group and trading under the Linkt brand, replaces Interlink Roads Pty Limited (as concessionaire for M5 South West Motorway) as the counterparty under your Customer Service Agreement and assumes all of Interlink Roads Pty Limited’s rights and obligations under the agreement. View your new Linkt Commercial Account Customer Service Agreement with Tollaust Pty Limited. From now on our Linkt team are available to handle any enquiries related to your account.
