What happens if my Tag or Tagless account falls below the minimum balance requirement?

Tag and Tagless accounts must have a credit balance to remain active.

If you have a tag and your balance falls below your low balance warning amount, your tag will beep 3 times as it passes through a toll point. If this happens, you should top up before your next trip. If you continue to travel and your balance falls below $0, your account may be suspended.

When your account is suspended, your tag will beep 4 times as it passes through a toll point. If you continue to travel on toll roads a toll invoice will be sent to the vehicle's owner. You'll need to restore your account to a credit balance to reactivate it. It can take up to 48 hours for your payment to be processed.

An easy way to avoid a suspended account is to set up automatic payments.
