I got a trip that's not mine in the LinktGO app.
LinktGO puts you in control of your toll payments. There might be instances when you get a trip notification that you don't believe you should pay for—for example, you were in someone else's car, in an Uber or taxi, on the bus, or driving a different car (like a work vehicle).
If this happens, you can choose Not your trip? and select a reason to reject payment of the trip.
To reject a trip, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the trip itself and select Not your trip?
GPS trips
If the trip you're disputing is a GPS trip (its status says "DUE"), we'll check the rejected trip against toll point data. If the toll point data confirms that the trip is indeed not yours, your rejection will be accepted.
If toll point data shows that the trip is actually yours—i.e., was taken by the vehicle registered in your app—we'll send you a notification to pay for the trip.
If you believe you paid a GPS trip that's not yours, you'll receive a refund within 30 days, once we get confirmation from toll point data. If after that period you haven't received a refund, you can dispute the trip. Go to Past Trips, open the trip in question, choose Not your trip? and follow the prompts.
Confirmed GPS and Delayed Detection Trips
If the trip you're disputing says "DUE NOW" it means it's already been confirmed by toll point cameras. You received the trip because the vehicle detected at toll point was registered to your LinktGO app at the time of travel. (Note that it's possible to receive trips after removing a vehicle from your app if there's a lag between time of travel and toll point cameras sending confirmation of the trip. Learn more about Delayed Detection trips.) If you believe you've been charged incorrectly, choose Not your trip? and follow the prompts. These trips will be investigated by our support team who may follow up for more information.
