How can we help?

Resolve incorrect trips or payments on LinktGO

You can dispute trips in the LinktGO app if you see a trip in the app that’s not yours, or if you’ve accidentally paid for a trip that’s not yours.

What to do if you see a trip that’s not yours in the LinktGO app

If you had GPS tracking turned ‘On’ in the app, you may receive a trip notification for a trip that’s not yours if you were:

  • A passenger in someone else’s car
  • In an Uber or a taxi
  • On a bus
  • Driving in a different vehicle (such as a work vehicle)

If this happens, you can choose ‘Not your trip?’ in the LinktGO app and select a reason to reject the trip payment.

Reject GPS trips

GPS trips have a “Real Time” label, and a status that says ‘DUE’. To reject a trip that isn't yours:

  1. Open the LinktGO app
  2. Select the Home button
  3. From the ‘Unpaid trips’ screen you can either click on the three dots on the trip card, or you can tap on the trip and then select ‘Not your trip’

If the toll point cameras confirm the trip isn’t yours, we’ll accept your trip rejection.

If the toll point cameras show the trip was taken with a vehicle registered to your app, we’ll send you a notification to pay for the trip.

Reject Delayed Detection trips

Delayed Detection trips are when we find toll trips with a vehicle registered to your LinktGO app. If the trip you’re disputing says ‘DUE NOW’, it means it’s now been confirmed by toll point cameras.

It's possible to receive trips after removing a vehicle from the app, as there can be a delay (usually a week) between when you travel and when LinktGO receives the toll point trip data.

If you believe you’ve been incorrectly charged:

  1. Open the LinktGO app
  2. Select the Home button
  3. From the ‘Unpaid trips’ screen you can either click on the three dots on the trip card, or you can tap on the trip and then select ‘Not your trip’
  4. Follow the prompts to submit a support case

Our support team will investigate the disputed trip and may contact you for more information.

Accidentally paid for a trip that isn’t yours?

If you’ve paid for a LinktGO trip that’s not yours, get in touch and we’ll see how we can help.

  1. Open the LinktGO app
  2. Select ‘More’ in iOS or ‘Menu’ on Android devices
  3. Select ‘Help Centre’
  4. Select ‘Get in touch’

If you were asked to pay more for a trip

You may be asked to pay extra for a trip if:

  • You travel with a trailer/caravan or a commercial vehicle
  • You drive during a peak period, when the toll price is higher
  • You have both a car and motorcycle registered to the app.

If you have both a car and a motorcycle registered to the LinktGO app and your GPS tracking in the app is turned on, initially we’ll charge you the motorcycle toll price. Once we can confirm with toll point data which vehicle you used, we may adjust the price. You can wait until then to pay or pay the difference when we send a request.

For toll road users in Sydney, if you travel during peak times on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tunnel, your trip price may also be adjusted once LinktGO receives the toll point data confirming the time of travel.

Service fees on the Logan Motorway

Trips on the Logan Motorway are separated into two toll segments. Each segment is processed individually by LinktGO, resulting in a service fee being charged for each segment.
