Using auto top up with your Prepaid Account
If you set your payment method to auto top up, credit is automatically added when your Prepaid Account balance drops below your top up trigger amount. It’s a convenient way to make sure you always have enough credit in your account to cover any toll road trips you make.
You can set your payment method to auto top up when you log in to your account online or on the Linkt app.
How auto top up works
Top up amount
This is the amount of credit added to your Prepaid Account when your balance drops below your top up trigger amount. There is a $10 minimum top up amount.
Top up trigger
When your balance reaches the amount you set here, your top up amount will be added to your account.
There is a $5 minimum trigger amount.
For example:
- You set your top up amount as $10 and your top up trigger as $5
- Your current account balance is $10 and you take a toll road trip, which brings your Prepaid Account balance down to $4
- Your top up amount will now be triggered
- $10 will be added to your account, bringing your total account balance to $14
