Add, remove or update vehicles

You can add, remove or update your vehicle details at any time online or on the Linkt app.

If your vehicle's tag or licence plate number are linked to your account, you’ll be ready to travel on any toll road in Australia. 

If you travel without a tag and your vehicle is registered to your account, your trips are charged to your account with a video matching fee. If you travel while you're waiting for a tag, we'll credit the video matching fees to your account for up to 14 days from the date you ordered the tag.

Remove or edit an existing vehicle 

  1. Log in to your account 
  2. Select ‘Vehicles’ from the menu
    screen
  3. Find vehicle you’d like to remove or edit
    screen
  4. Select ‘Remove’ or ‘Edit’ and follow the prompts

Add another vehicle

  1. Log in to your account 
  2. Select ‘Vehicles’ from the menu
    screen
  3. Select ‘Add a vehicle’ and follow the prompts
    screen

Remove or edit an existing vehicle 

  1. Open the Linkt app 
  2. Select ‘Account’ from the menu 
  3. Select ‘Vehicles’ 
  4. Find the vehicle you’d like to remove or edit 
  5. Select ‘Remove’ or ‘Edit’ and follow the prompts 

Add another vehicle 

  1. Open the Linkt app 
  2. Select ‘Account’ from the menu 
  3. Select ‘Vehicles’ 
  4. Select ‘Add vehicle’ and follow the prompts

Add a vehicle after using a toll road

  • Cover CityLink trips made up to 9 days ago with an account
  • Cover CityLink trips made up to 5 days ago and EastLink trips made up to 3 days ago with a Visitor's Pass 
When adding the vehicle to your account or Visitor's Pass, you can set a start and end date. If you'd like to cover past travel, we recommend adding the vehicle to your account or pass as soon as possible.

Temporary vehicles

If you'd like to use a temporary vehicle, remember to include an end date, so you don't end up paying someone else's tolls. Once the end date passes, the car will automatically get removed from your account.

Enter your details correctly

When making vehicle updates, check you've entered the correct details. If you incorrectly enter your licence plate number and don't have a tag, your trips won't be charged to your account – and you may receive a toll invoice.

If you’ve recently sold your vehicle, remember to remove it from your account so you’re not paying for someone else’s travel.
