Why have my card details been removed from my account?
We upgraded our payment systems on 22 August 2022 to improve the speed of transactions and provide extra security.
So, all saved payment card details needed to be verified to be able to process payments in the upgraded system.
If you had Visa or Mastercard details saved on your account that couldn’t be verified and weren’t updated, your card may have been removed.
What to do next
So you’re covered, you need to add a payment method on your account.
You can do this online or via the app.
Log in to your account.
Select Payment details from the menu.
Add a payment card in the Payment methods section.
Make any required changes and select 'Update'
If your account has an outstanding amount owing, you’ll need to make a one-off manual payment for this amount before restarting auto payments
Tap the My Account tab.
Tap Payment settings.
Set up auto payments or add a payment card in the Payment methods section.
If you travel without adding a valid payment method, your account is at risk of going into suspension and you may receive toll invoices and additional fees.
How to protect your information
We will never send you an email or SMS requesting you to reply with your payment card details. We’ll always direct you to log into your account via linkt.com.au or via the Linkt app to update any account information.
