Check and update your payment card message from Linkt
We’re updating our payment system in August, which will include additional security requirements for payment cards. As part of these upgrades, we’ll be running some tests in June and July to make sure cards meet these security requirements.
If you have a Visa or Mastercard saved on your account, you may have received an email or SMS from Linkt asking you to check your card is correct, and possibly also update it so it meets the new security requirements.
What to do next
If you’ve received an email or SMS from Linkt about your card, please log in to your account and check that the details we have on file for your card are correct and up to date.
You can do this by logging in to your account online or via the app.
If you make auto payments:
- Log in to your account at linkt.com.au
- Select Payment details from the menu
- Check your payment card details are correct, including expiry date in the Payment methods section
- If it's incorrect, select Edit in the Payment methods section
- Make any required changes and select Update
If you pay manually:
- Log in to your account at linkt.com.au
- Select Make a payment from the My Account page
- Check your payment card details are correct, including expiry date
- If incorrect, select Update and make any required changes
- Enter a payment amount and select Continue to make a payment
- Tap the Account tab
- Tap Payment Settings
- Check your details are correct, including expiry date, in the Payment methods section
- If it’s incorrect, tap the ‘...’ next to the card details, then tap Update card or Replace card
Please note that we’d never send you an email or SMS requesting you to reply with your payment card details.
If you receive an email from Linkt asking you to update your details and you’re not sure it came from us, simply log in to your account from the Linkt website or app. Never click on links in an email if you're not sure where the email came from. Find out more about how to spot a hoax message
