Accounts for taxi drivers and fleets
If you're a taxi driver or manage a fleet of taxis, you can cover toll road travel with a Commercial Account or Prepaid Account.
The best option for you will depend on how often you use toll roads and how many taxis you manage.

Taxis and airports
To travel to an airport with your taxi, you'll need an active Commercial Account or Prepaid Account and a working tag. You can't access the airport Taxi Primary Holding Area with a pass.
Airport charges will appear on your account statement as 'Melbourne Airport'.
Accounts for Uber and other ridesharing companies
Drivers for ridesharing companies, such as Uber, OLA and Didi, can cover toll road travel with a Prepaid Account or Postpaid Account.

Travelling with a suspended account
To ensure your toll road travel is always covered, it's important to make sure your:
- Tag is correctly installed and working
(Find out what to do if your tag isn't beeping) - Account's linked payment method is correct and up-to-date
If overdue payments on your account aren't made, your account will be suspended. You can reactivate your account by paying the outstanding amount.
If you travel while your account is suspended, the vehicle's owner will receive a toll invoice, which includes additional admin fees.

Add a taxi to your account after you travelled
You can cover past CityLink trips by up to 9 days after your first trip. Just note that Commercial Accounts are subject to a credit check, so you'll need an active account before you can cover past trips.
With Linkt accounts, you can't cover past trips on EastLink or the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tunnel.
