Using toll roads after you open an account
All our Linkt accounts let you travel on any toll road in Australia. With an active account, you're good to go.
For CityLink travel
You can travel on CityLink as soon as your account is open. It doesn’t matter what type of account you've opened – you’re good to go.
For EastLink travel
It may take up to 24 hours for your account to cover travel on EastLink. If you travel on EastLink before then, you may receive a toll invoice in the mail.
If you're waiting for tags
We normally charge a video matching fee when you travel without your tag. But for new customers waiting for tags, we’ll credit these video matching fees for the first 14 days from the day you open your account. This credit may take up to 4 weeks to appear on your account.
If you backdated your account opening date, this credit will also include any backdated trips on CityLink.
You should receive your tag within 7-10 working days of opening your account and ordering your tag. If your tag hasn’t arrived within 14 days from the day you opened your account, please contact our customer care team.
When your tag arrives, make sure it’s installed correctly to avoid any future video matching fees, as these will be charged if you travel without your tag after the first 14 days.
