How Linkt accounts work
Linkt accounts let you quickly and easily pay for and manage your toll trips online or on the Linkt app.
Avoid toll invoices
To avoid paying toll invoices, you can open an account or buy a pass. If you don't pay for your tolls with a valid account or pass, you'll have to pay the extra admin fees that come with a toll invoice.

Prepaid, Postpaid and Commercial Account options
We have accounts for all kinds of travellers, including our Prepaid Account, Postpaid Account, and Commercial Account.
Our Prepaid Account lets you pay for your tolls before you travel, and our Postpaid Account lets you pay as you go. And our Commercial Account is made for larger fleets.
Tags and accounts – how they work together
All of our accounts give you the option to travel with or without a tag.
Travel with a tag
A tag is an electronic device you install in your vehicle. We use it to accurately calculate your tolls, which we then charge to your account as you travel. How you pay for your tolls depends on the type of account you open and the payment method you choose. When you travel with a tag, you avoid paying video matching fees.
Travel without a tag
Instead of using a tag to calculate your tolls, we take a photograph of your licence plate number when you pass through a toll point. We then check the photograph against any vehicles registered to your account and charge your tolls accordingly. Your account is also charged a video matching fee to match your licence plate with your account or pass.
