Keeping a positive Prepaid Account balance
With a Prepaid Account, it's important to make sure you have a positive balance with enough credit to cover your future trips. You can do this by setting up auto top ups, or making manual top ups when it suits you.
Auto top ups
When you set auto top ups, your Linkt account will automatically be topped up when your balance reaches the selected trigger amount. This is an easy way to make sure you've always got a positive balance. Log in to your account to make sure your payment details are correct and up to date.
Manual top ups
If you use manual top up, we'll send you a low balance alert when your credit reaches the low balance limit set in your account. To make sure you don't miss the low balance alerts, log in to your account and ensure your contact details are up to date.
If you have a tag, it'll beep 3 times as you pass through a toll point, reminding you to top up.

Using toll roads without enough credit in your account
You may receive a toll invoice in the mail if you use a toll road without enough Prepaid Account credit to cover the cost of your trips. This toll invoice includes your tolls plus additional admin fees, so it’s best to top up your account before you travel.
If you continue to use toll roads without topping up, your account will be suspended and you’ll receive toll invoices for any trips you take. If you have a tag, it’ll beep 4 times as you pass through tolls, to let you know your account’s been suspended. You can reactivate your account by paying the amount owing.
Avoid a suspended account
To avoid having a suspended account, make sure you've always got enough credit to cover the cost of your trips with auto or manual top ups.
Another way to help keep your account active is to make sure your payment details are correct and up to date.
