About scams
If you have received a communication from someone claiming to be Linkt and it appears to be suspicious, delete it and do not click on any links. You can report the incident to us using our online form.
If you have supplied your financial information, including credit card details, get in touch with your financial institution straight away. You can also read our tips to protect yourself online.
We will never email or SMS you to ask for your personal information or login details. We may ask you to verify your personal details to authenticate your identity when we speak to you over the phone.
In this section we will list scams that have been verified and which are known to be using the Linkt brand to target Linkt customers in an attempt to gain their personal information.

Scam SMS | Some customers have recently reported receiving SMS messages that direct users to click a short url. Please see examples provided below.

Spoof/phishing websites | Some users have reported that after receiving a scam email or sms they are directed to a website that contains Linkt branding. These websites can look very convincing. They may ask you to log in or have fields that ask you to put in or search for an invoice number. Check for common signs of phishing sites like spelling errors, poor grammar or urls that do no start with https://www.linkt.com.au. ACTION: Do not interact with the website. Do not enter any information or user details. Please take a screenshot and report the incident to us immediately. If you wish to check your account, navigate to the Linkt website at www.linkt.com.au and log in from there. |
Reasons we might contact you
We may email or SMS you from time to time about your account, asking you to update your personal or payment details using our website or app. We will never ask you to update financial information by SMS, but we may give you the option to update your email address by replying to an SMS.
Some scammers may target people by asking them to update payment details and then linking them to a scam website. Make sure you’re always logging into the Linkt website or app by navigating to linkt.com.au before you enter any personal details.
