Lost or stolen tags
You can order a replacement for your lost or stolen tag online or on the Linkt app.
If you have a Commerical Account, there is a different process to order replacement tags for a Commercial Account.
How to report a stolen or lost tag
- Log in to your account
- Select ‘Tags and holders’
- Find your lost or stolen tag (each tag has a unique serial number)
- Select ‘This tag is lost or stolen’ and follow the prompts to order a replacement
- Confirm your details
- Select ‘Place order’
- Open the Linkt app
- Select 'Account'
- Select 'Tags'
- Find your lost or stolen tag (each tag has a unique serial number)
- Select ‘This tag is lost or stolen’ and follow the prompts to order a replacement
- Confirm your details
- Select ‘Place order’
The cost for your lost or stolen tag ($15) will appear on your next statement. The $15 fee (tag non-return fee) is charged when a tag can't be returned to us. There is no cost for a replacement tag.
Your replacement tag can take up to 10 business days to arrive from the day you place the order.
Report stolen tags to the police
For stolen tags, please contact our customer care team as soon as possible by phone or email. We'll suspend your stolen tag, so you don't get charged any extra tolls or fees.
If you find a tag after reporting it as lost
If you find a tag you’ve reported as lost or stolen, you can return it to us, and we’ll refund the $15 tag non-return fee.
