Go Between Bridge Toll Credit Scheme

Brisbane City Council has announced the Go Between Bridge Toll Credit Scheme for local residents in the 4101 post-code, to ease the construction impacts associated with major projects in the area.

Eligible residents can receive $100 of toll credit to their Linkt account for use on all toll roads, including the Go Between Bridge.

The scheme will be available for eligible residents as of January 2021.

It will be in place until the scheduled completion of Brisbane Metro’s major infrastructure works in mid-2024.

The scheme is provided and administered by Brisbane City Council. For more information please visit www.brisbane.qld.gov.au and search ‘Go Between Bridge Toll Credit Scheme’ or call Brisbane City Council's 24-hour Contact Centre on 3403 8888.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How will the toll credit work?

Eligible accounts can apply for $100 of Linkt toll credit per calendar year (maximum credit of $400 per eligible toll account over the life of the scheme).

The credit is applied to your account for use on all toll roads.

  • Am I eligible for the scheme?

Residents and tenants of postcode 4101 suburbs, including South Brisbane, Highgate Hill and West End, are eligible to apply for the Go Between Bridge Toll Credit Scheme.

To be eligible you also need to:

    • Have a QLD privately registered vehicle
    • Have an active tag or tagless Linkt account. Your account must list your nominated vehicles.

Please note: commercial accounts are ineligible for the scheme.

Eligibility is determined by the Brisbane City Council. For more information, please contact them directly via their 24-hour Contact Centre on 3403 8888.

  • How do I apply for the scheme?

Residents and tenants of postcode 4101 suburbs who are eligible to apply will be contacted by Linkt with application information. Applications can also be made via Brisbane City Council’s website, and hard copy application forms can be requested if needed.

Applications are open from January 2021 and can be made throughout the year. If you become eligible part way through the scheme (e.g. by moving into the area), you may apply at a later date. Yearly cut-off times may apply, and applications will restart the following year.

Eligible residents will need to reapply every 12 months from the date of their first application to continue receiving toll credit.

If you believe you are eligible but have not received an email, or for more information on applications, please contact Brisbane City Council directly via their 24-hour Contact Centre on 3403 8888 or visit their website.
