We've updated the login process

We're committed to improving the experience for our customers, whether online or on road. One of these improvements included an update to our website which changed the way you log in to your account.

What changed?

Previously you were able to log in using your account number or User ID and PIN. With the new login process you need to use a unique username and password instead.

Why the change?

The newer login process makes account management easier. You can find your username and reset your password online easily, so you don't need to call if you get locked out of your account.

It's also allowed us to improve your online experience with new account management features apps like the Linkt app and LinktGO.

How to create a username

To manage your Linkt account, you need to create a username and password. You can use any username you like, but it needs to: 

  • Be at least 3 characters long
  • Be unique to you and not used by someone else 

Choose a username that’s specific to you and easy to remember, such as:

  • Your email address
  • Your mobile number
  • A combination of your first and last names
  • Your account number (if you’re the only person using the account)

You can change your username at any time online or on the Linkt app.

If your username isn’t available

If your preferred username isn't available, it may be because it's already in use. In this case, you'll be prompted to choose a different username. If you believe that the username belongs to you, you can try resetting your password instead of creating a new account.
