The month-long toll free period on the M4 has concluded. Tolling on the new widened section between Parramatta and Homebush starts today.

The new 7.5km stretch of the M4 has been widened from 6 to 8 lanes and tolls are charged according to the distance travelled along the motorway.

Tolls will vary according to the type of vehicle. Use our toll calculator to find out exactly how much you'll pay for your trip on the new M4.

If you don't have a Transurban Linkt account or pass you can compare accounts and passes to find a product that works for you.

Work is continuing on the new M4 East with completion expected in 2019. The new widened section of the M4 is part of the WestConnex project.

The final sections include the new M5, the M5 East and the M4-M5 Link, with completion expected in 2023. When finished WestConnex will double road capacity along the M5 East corridor and form a seamless motorway without traffic lights via the M4-M5 Link tunnel.
