Important information about logging in to your account online

If you've received an email from us with a new username you can use it to log in straight away.

Your password remains the same and no other details on your account have changed.

Can I change my new username?

Yes, if you want to personalise your username you can simply log in to your account online and update your username via the ‘My Details’ section.  The video on this page shows the steps required to change your username.

Remember, the same username cannot be used on more than one account.

If you're using the Linkt app, follow these steps to change your username:

  1. Log in to your account using the new username in the email we sent you. Your password has not been changed but if you cannot remember it, you can reset it by clicking on the Reset my password link.
  2. Click on the Edit my details button at the bottom of the My Account screen
  3. You can now change your username by clicking on the Edit button to the right of your new username.
  4. The username can be changed by editing the existing one, ensuring you meet the username restrictions, or you can simply click the 'Username same as email address' checkbox and use your email address as your username. To confirm the change, click on the Save button.
  5. Once your username is accepted you will get a green updated notification.
  6. If you use a username that is already taken you will get an error message.
