We're offering grants of up to $10,000 to grassroots projects and charities through our 2026 Community Grants program.
If you're a community organisation making a difference near our roads in NSW, Queensland or Victoria, we want to hear from you.
What we support
We want to go the extra mile for communities living and working around our roads. These grants support groups and projects that improve road safety, support financial inclusion and help the local environment.
At least one grant in each eligible state is also dedicated to a First Nations organisation or project, reinforcing our commitment to reconciliation.
Does your organisation?
- hold a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status or is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and
- Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), andoperate within the eligible local government areas in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria
If yes, then you’re good to go.

Every 2026 grant recipient automatically goes into the running for our Choice Awards in November, with the chance to win:
- People's Choice First Place: An additional $10,000 grant
- People's Choice Runner-Up: An additional $5,000 grant
- Employee's Choice Winner: An additional $5,000 grant (selected by Transurban employees)
