(Virtual) Run for the Kids to support the Good Friday Appeal

In the interests of the health and safety of the public, our employees and our volunteers, it is with heavy hearts that we confirm the Herald Sun/Transurban Run for The Kids on Sunday March 29 will be cancelled this year.

We know the decision to cancel the event will be a huge disappointment to everyone who has registered, and especially to the participants who are running or walking in support of a family member or friend who has been touched by the Royal Children’s Hospital’s lifesaving work.

In its 15th year, Run for the Kids is the largest event to contribute to the Good Friday Appeal, which raises funds to support Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital and we encourage people to come together and continue to support this extremely worthy cause, as we will.

Participants are being offered the option of a full refund, or to transfer their registration fee to the Good Friday Appeal. Those who transfer their registration fee will be invited to join a virtual run/walk as a way of uniting behind this great cause during this uncertain time.

We’d like to thank every customer who registered for the 2020 Run or the Kids – more information on registrations and the virtual run/walk will be made available on runforthekids.com.au
