Linkt branded unpaid toll scam email
We're aware of scam emails claiming to be from Linkt, warning of unpaid toll invoices.
The scam email claims that you have an unpaid toll invoice and asks you to click on a link to pay. The link looks correct on the surface, but links to a scam website where your personal and payment details can be stolen.
This is not a genuine Linkt email. Do not click the links or reply to the sender.

If you think you have an unpaid toll invoice, you can navigate to the Linkt website or download the Linkt app, and search for toll invoices using your licence plate number.

Collection House Scam SMS
We're aware of multiple scam SMS claiming to be from Collection House, a debt collection agency.
The SMS claims that toll payments are overdue and asks you to pay via the link in the message or to verify the unpaid bill. Some of the texts claim you’ll receive fines, penalties or fees if you do not pay immediately.
These are not real Collection House communications. Do not click the links, call the number, or reply to the sender.
If you think you may have an unpaid toll invoice, you can navigate to the Linkt website or download the Linkt app, and search for toll invoices using your licence plate number. You can also call Collection House directly on 1300 241 743 to check if the SMS is genuine.

Linkt branded scam SMS
We're aware of multiple scam SMS claiming to be from Linkt, urging you to pay for tolls, or warning of overdue or unpaid bills.
The SMS claims that toll payments are overdue and includes a link, asking you to use the link to payment, or to verify the unpaid bill. Often, the text claims you will recieve fines, penalties, or fees if you do not pay immediately.
These are not real Linkt or Transurban communications. Do not click the links, call the number, or reply to the sender.
If you think you may have an unpaid toll invoice, you can navigate to the Linkt website or download the Linkt app, and search for toll invoices using your licence plate number. You can also log in to your Linkt account, if you have one - if your licence plate number is on your account, we will show any unpaid toll invoices for your vehicles when you log in.

Link branded toll relief scam email
We're aware of an email scam claiming to be from Linkt, offering a fake toll relief credit or benefit.
This scam email claims that you are eligible for a toll relief rebate and aims to steal personal and financial information through a fake claims portal.
This is not a real Linkt or Transurban email. Do not click the links, call any number in an email or reply to the sender.
To find out information about toll relief schemes, go to trusted government websites. Claims for cashback schemes in NSW are generally made through Service NSW. The Truck Multiplier Rebate can be applied by logging into your Linkt account for eligible commercial customers. To stay safe, make sure you navigate to the website, instead of clicking on email links.

Transurban branded recruitment scam SMS
We're aware of a scam SMS claiming to be from Transurban recruitment, offering interviews for various fake positions with the company.
The scam SMS shows a list of positions and pay rates. It praises and identifies you as the right match for the role offering work flexibility. The SMS asks you to undertake an online interview with a range of video calling platforms.
This is not a real Transurban recruitment communication. Do not click any links, or reply to the sender.
This scam aims to steal personal information through setting up an interview, then requesting your identity documents and financial information. Communications from Transurban recruitment teams will always come from a @transurban.com email address.
Tips to stay safe
- We do not ask you to provide payment details via links in SMS or emails.
- We encourage you to log in securely through the Linkt/ LinktGO app or Linkt website to check your account.

If you have received a suspicious communication claiming to be Linkt, check your Linkt account.
Report it to Linkt
If it seems suspicious, before you delete, report it to help us prevent future scams.
Delete it
Once you’ve taken a screenshot, delete the message.
You can also report a scam message to the Federal Government’s ScamWatch website at scamwatch.gov.au, where you’ll find information about other scams reported across Australia.
