How can we help?

  • Why did I get a message about LinktGO being retired?

You’ll have received a message from us if you have a vehicle registered in the LinktGO app. We’re retiring the LinktGO app and it won’t be in service from 18 September 2025.

  • How long can I keep using LinktGO?

You can use LinktGO to cover your toll road trips until 11.59 pm Wednesday 17 September 2025. You can find options to cover you after this date on our help page.

  • Will my LinktGO details automatically transfer to the Linkt app if I choose to use it?

No. To use the Linkt app, you need to download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play and it will take you through opening a Linkt account. You can also open a Linkt account without the app.

  • How do I pay for tolls on or after Thursday 18 September 2025?

To cover future toll road travel after this date you can open a Linkt account or buy a Linkt pass.

For other ways to pay, check out your options for different states and cities.

Other toll providers such as Eastlink in VIC and E-Toll in NSW also offer options.

  • Can I get my past invoices once the app closes?

You can download invoices and view your trip history in the LinktGO app until Tuesday 30 September 2025. From Wednesday 1 October 2025, the LinktGO app will be unavailable, and you won’t be able to access any information.

  • What happens to any trips that come through after the app closes?

If you used a toll road prior to Thursday 18 September 2025, you can use LinktGO to pay for that trip until Tuesday 30 September 2025. From Wednesday 1 October, any unpaid trips will result in a toll notice, plus additional charges being mailed to the registered vehicle owner’s address.

Check out information on toll payments for your state:

    •  VIC

    • QLD

    • NSW

  • What if I need to dispute a charge after the LinktGO app closes?

To dispute a charge after the LinktGO app retires, please get in touch with the Linkt Customer Service team.

  • Will I get an extension to pay overdue tolls?

Until 30 September 2025, LinktGO is available to pay for travel taken prior to 18 September. LinktGO can't be used to pay for toll road travel from 18 September 2025. If you haven’t paid for a toll by 30 September 2025, you’ll receive a toll notice in the mail.

  • Do I need to deregister my account?

We recommend you deregister from the LinktGO app after setting up an alternative toll road payment method to make sure you’re billed correctly.

  • Why should I deregister if the app is being retired?

Taking the time to deregister from the app removes your vehicle information and prevents the risk of double billing in the case you’ve signed up for another app or account before LinktGO is completely shut down on 30 September 2025.
