Activate your new or replacement tag
Once you receive your new or replacement tag, you can activate it by following these steps:
- Check your tag is installed correctly in your vehicle
- Drive on a toll road
When your tag goes through a toll point, it will beep if it’s successful. The first time this happens, it will update the tag status from 'issued' to 'active' on your account.
If your tag doesn’t beep, it may be faulty, have a flat battery or incorrectly installed. You can also check if your tag is active is by logging into your account.
