FAQs

  • How will this outage affect me?

While our systems are offline, you won't be able to log in to your account, manage vehicles, buy passes, or make payments online. Our roads remain open during the outage and you can travel as normal. Your tags and number plates will still be recorded on every trip, but your trips will be charged later.

  • How long will your systems been offline?

The outage starts at 11pm AEDT on Wednesday 21 October and ends at 7am AEDT on Monday 26 October. If these dates or times change, we’ll update this page.

  • What do I need to do before the outage?

To ensure your account is prepared, we recommend logging in before 11pm AEDT Wednesday 21 October to:

    • Add any new vehicles.

    • Check that your email address and mobile phone number are up to date.

    • Download any statements or reports you may need.

    • Pay any outstanding invoices.

  • When will I be charged for trips taken during the outage?

Trips taken during the outage will progressively start appearing in your account from Monday 26 October. If your account is set to auto-top up, you may see more than one top-up after 26 October while the backlog of trips is processed.

  • What happens if my monthly invoice is due during the outage?

If your monthly account invoice is due between Wednesday 21 and Monday 26 October and you haven't paid ahead of time, you won't be charged a late fee. Direct debits and automatic top-ups scheduled during the outage will be progressively processed after Monday 26 October.

  • What if I don’t have an account or pass?

If you know you'll be travelling on toll roads during the outage, we recommend buying a pass before 11pm Wednesday 21 October so your travel is covered in advance.

If you travel between 21 and 26 October without an arrangement, you can open an account or buy a pass on Monday 26 October and backdate it to cover your trips.

  • What will change on my account after 26 October?

When our systems are back online on Monday 26 October, three things will change:

Your account number: Your account will transition to a standardised 10-digit format. This will be updated automatically and will be visible on your dashboard when you first log in.

Your BPAY Customer Reference Number (CRN): If you pay your invoices by BPAY, your CRN will change to align with your new account number. You'll need to update this in your banking portal before making your next payment. If you accidentally make a payment using your old details after the upgrade, don't worry—your payment will be manually mapped to your account in the background.

Your password: As part of the system upgrade, you’ll need to create a new account password. The first time you log in on or after 26 October, you’ll be prompted to reset your account password and create a new one. Please don’t reset it yet - you won’t need to do this until after the system upgrade.

  • Who can I contact for help?

Our Contact Centre teams will remain open during our standard operating hours to provide advice and support. However, please note that our agents won’t be able to access your account, check balances, or process changes until systems come back online at 7am Monday 26 October.

  • Can I still access Linkt Rewards offers during the outage?

Yes, if you’re a Linkt Rewards member, your offers remain available to use during the outage. Make sure you’re logged in to the Linkt app before 11pm AEDT Wednesday 21 and stay logged in to maintain your access.
