The M7 Motorway has had a major upgrade. With 26 kilometres of new lanes open and a new interchange connecting to Western Sydney International Airport, driving across Western Sydney has changed significantly.
The unpaid tolls process is changing in July.
The upgraded M7 Motorway is now open. For freight operators and businesses that rely on Western Sydney's road network, the changes are significant: more lanes, less congestion and a direct connection to Western Sydney International Airport via the M12.
On 1 July 2026, tolls for CityLink and West Gate Tunnel in Melbourne will be adjusted, as per their quarterly schedule.
On 1 July 2026, tolls for NSW roads including the Cross City Tunnel, Eastern Distributor, Hills M2, M5 South-West, Lane Cove Tunnel, Military Road E-Ramp, NorthConnex and Westlink M7 will be updated, as per their quarterly schedule.
Tolls for the WestConnex network (M4, M8, M5 East and M4-M8 Link, including Rozelle Interchange) will be indexed from 1 January 2026 in accordance with the respective project deed terms.
All toll price updates occur in line with our agreement with the NSW government.

Since 5 January 2026, our crews have been hard at work resurfacing CityLink’s southern section as part of a preventative road-care program.
