Delivering a safer, smoother drive on the Logan Motorway.
Maintenance works wil be underway on the Logan Motorway from March to late 2026, construction and weather conditions permitting.
From Sunday 8 March until late 2026, we’ll be resurfacing sections of the motorway between Formation Street and the Centenary Highway. During this time, you’ll see lane and ramp closures and changed traffic conditions in both directions.
What’s happening?
To keep disruptions low, most work will take place Sunday to Thursday nights, between 8pm and 5am. Some weekend works may also occur from Friday to Monday, 8pm to 5am.
During major works, we may need to close full sections of the motorway or on and off ramps. Detours will be in place during these motorway closures. Some works will use contraflow, keeping a single lane open with reduced speed limits.All works are subject to weather and site conditions.
Plan ahead
If you’re travelling between Formation Street and the Centenary Highway, please plan ahead and allow extra time. Stay updated on upcoming closures and traffic changes or visit QLD Traffic.
