Fees and charges for using Linkt Sydney
Below are the fees and charges that may apply to when using Linkt to pay for your tolls. Please note that these fees exclude any toll travel costs.
These fees and charges are adjusted on 1 July each year.

Video matching fee* | $0.55–$0.75 | Applies each time a vehicle travels through a toll point on the Linkt network, without a tag or when a tag is not detected. Motorcycles don’t need tags to travel on toll roads. If your motorcycle is not linked to a valid toll account or pass, you will be charged a video matching fee. However, if you later transfer the unpaid trip to a valid toll account or pass, the video matching fee will be waived. If your motorcycle is linked to a valid toll account or pass, no video matching fee will apply. To avoid a video matching fee, log in to your account or pass and link your motorcycle's licence plate number before you travel. |

Monthly Account Fee

| Security Deposit | $50.00 | Paid per tag on a Commercial account if we require additional security to open your account. |
| Dishonour Fee | $1.00 | This is the amount you'll be charged if your auto payment declines. |
| Start-up Fee | $1.50 online $3.30 by phone | Paid when opening a Tagless account or Sydney Pass. |

All prices shown include GST.
*In special circumstances the fee may not apply to vehicles which are not suitable for tag use such as car carriers, motorbikes, cranes and vehicles fitted with metallic windshields where this vehicle is part of a full account.
**Only Linkt accounts and selected Linkt passes where a name and address has been supplied is eligible to opt in for printed Linkt statements.
***These fees are applied if you travelled on a toll road before July 1, 2026.
User administration charge: The user administration charge consists of one or more of these fees—video matching fee and retailer service fee, depending on which tolling product is used by the road user.
