There is an electronic toll point on the upgraded West Gate Freeway between Millers and Williamstown roads for heavy and long vehicles using West Gate Tunnel, the Hyde Street ramps or continuing on over West Gate Bridge.
All heavy vehicles will pay a single toll at this toll point - no matter if you use the tunnel, the West Gate Bridge or the Hyde Street ramps.
Long heavy commercial vehicle (Long HCV) is a new vehicle class for heavy vehicles that are 26m in length or more. This class will apply for the West Gate Tunnel and CityLink.

Prices shown are what customers would pay if they're travelling on the toll road as at quarter ending 31 December 2025, in anticipation of the West Gate Tunnel opening in late 2025.
HCV and Long HCV vehicles which make multiple trips on the West Gate Freeway during the same day (12am-12am) will have discounted tolls after the fourth trip, and no further charge after the eighth trip.
Heavy vehicles travelling on CityLink and the West Gate Tunnel will have tolls for a single continuous trip capped.
The multi-road trip cap can provide a discount for vehicles travelling on the West Gate Freeway and onto Monash Freeway.
If you travel on the West Gate Tunnel and CityLink and you are eligible for daily multi-trip discounts or multi-road trip caps, you will be charged for whichever discount gives the lower toll cost. This means you will be charged the lowest amount for your travel.
Placarded HCVs and Long HCVs cannot travel in the West Gate Tunnel. Instead, these vehicles can use the new Hyde Street ramps as an alternative route to and from the west.
If you're driving a heavy vehicle with a dangerous goods placard and your trip begins in the port precinct and travels only on Bolte Bridge, you will not pay a toll for this trip. If your travel continues to other parts of CityLink or the upgraded West Gate Freeway, the tolls for these later sections only will be charged.

Note that the Burnley, Domain, Mullum Mullum and Melba tunnels have height limits of 4.65m.
