Definitions

Active Account
A Linkt consumer account that is not suspended or in the process of being closed.

Automatic Payment
A standing authorisation for payment of a Linkt account from a credit or debit card, or bank account.

Draw Date
The date on which all winners for the Promotion will be drawn, incorporating all eligible entries received during the Relevant Entry Period, as set out in section 26 of these Terms and Conditions.

Existing Linkt Customer
An individual that has opened an eligible Linkt consumer account before the first day of the relevant week during the Relevant Entry Period that they seek to enter the Competition. Eligible accounts are set out in section 1.

Handling Matters
Handling Matters Pty Ltd (ABN 20 098 648 616) of Unit 40, 1-5 Thew Parade Cromer, NSW 2099 is the Promoter’s prize fulfilment service provider.

Major Prize
The Major Prize is a VW ID. BUZZ Pro (SWB) in Candy White/Bay Leaf Green Metallic.

New Linkt Customer
An individual that opens an eligible Linkt consumer account during the Relevant Entry Period. Eligible accounts are set out in section 1. For clarity, a customer that is a “New Linkt Customer” the first time they enter the Competition during Relevant Entry Period will then be an “Existing Linkt Customer” for any subsequent entries they make during subsequent weeks of the Relevant Entry Period.

Overdue toll invoice
A bill for unpaid travel on a toll road. If you already have an account, you may receive a toll invoice if;
a) You’re driving a car that hasn’t been added to your account; or
b) You continue to drive on toll roads when your account is suspended

Prize Draw
The draw conducted for all entries received during the Relevant Entry Period.

Promotion Period
12pm AEDT, Monday 25 May 2026 to 12pm AEST, Monday 20 July 2026.

Relevant Entry Period
The period during which entries can be made to go into the Prize Draw. Eligible entrants can enter the Prize Draw once each week during the Relevant Entry Period, as set out in section 26 of these Terms.

Suspended Account
A Linkt consumer account that has fallen into a negative balance and the account holder continues to travel on toll roads.

VML Australia
VML Australia Pty. Ltd, (ABN 67 117 645 708) of Level 7 1 Shelley Street Barangaroo, NSW 2000 Australia is the Promoter’s prize fulfilment service provider.

Who can enter

  1. Existing Linkt Customers must:

    1. be 18 years old or over;
    2. be a resident of VIC, NSW or QLD;
    3. be the primary or secondary account holder of an active consumer Linkt Tag, Tagless, Prepaid or Postpaid Account;
    4. be 'opted-in' to receive marketing and promotional communications from the Promoter and remain opted-in until the competition draw; and
    5. have an active Linkt account with no overdue toll invoices at the time of the competition draw.
  2. New Linkt Customers must:

    1. be 18 years old or over;
    2. be a resident of VIC, NSW or QLD;
    3. not already be the primary account holder of any consumer Linkt Account; and
    4. open a consumer Linkt Tag, Tagless, Prepaid or Postpaid Account during the Relevant Entry Period as the primary account holder and remain in an active account status with no overdue toll invoices at the time of the competition draw.
  3. The following persons are ineligible:

    1. Linkt Pass holders;
    2. Linkt Commercial Account holders or Linkt Commercial Rental Account holders;
    3. Linkt consumer customers with a suspended account or a negative account balance;
    4. directors and management of the Promoter;
    5. officers, employees, and contingent workers of the Promoter, Queensland Motorways Management Pty Ltd and Sydney Motorway Corporation Pty Ltd; and/or
    6. retailers, suppliers, associated companies, and agencies of the Promoter who are associated with this Promotion, and their directors, management and employees.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of identity, residential address and any other information from any entrant or winner relevant to entry into, or participation in, the Promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.

How to enter

  1. Existing Linkt Customers

    Existing Linkt Customers can enter the competition via either the Linkt App or the Linkt Website, as further detailed below. To qualify for a bonus entry, see section 8 for more detail on bonus entry.

    1. Entry via the Linkt App

      To enter, an Existing Linkt Customer that meets the eligibility criteria in section 1 must, during the Relevant Entry Period:

      1. log in to their Linkt consumer account using the Linkt app;
      2. tap on the competition banner and then:
        1. agree to the competition terms and conditions;
        2. consent to receive Linkt promotional communications and remain opted-in at the time of the competition draw;
        3. consent to the Promoter disclosing their first name, last name, email address and phone number to VML Australia or Handling Matters for the purpose of prize fulfillment (note: disclosure will only occur if the entrant is a winner); and
        4. ensure they have an active Linkt account with no overdue toll invoices at the time of the competition draw.
    2. Entry via the Linkt Website

      To enter, an Existing Linkt Customer that meets the eligibility criteria in section 1 must, during the Relevant Entry Period enter online at https://www.linkt.com.au/bigbuzz and provide their:

      1. first name (as listed on their Linkt account)
      2. last name (as listed on their Linkt account)
      3. mobile number (as listed on their Linkt account)
      4. email address (as listed on their Linkt account)
      5. Linkt account number
      6. agree to the competition terms and conditions
      7. consent to receive Linkt promotional communications and remain opted-in at the time of the competition draw;
      8. consent to the Promoter disclosing their first name, last name, phone number and email address to VML Australia or Handling Matters for the purpose of prize fulfillment (note: disclosure will only occur if the entrant is a winner); and
      9. ensure they have an active Linkt account with no overdue toll invoices at the time of the competition draw.

    Existing Linkt Customers that enter directly from the Linkt customer competition emails will only be required to provide their email address (as listed on their Linkt account). The additional fields (first name, last name, mobile number and Linkt account number) will be obtained from the contact details listed on their Linkt account.

  2. New Linkt Customers

    To receive automatic entry into the draw, during the Promotion Period, an individual that meets the eligibility criteria in section 2 must:

    1. open a consumer Linkt Tag, Tagless, Prepaid or Postpaid Account during the Relevant Entry Period; and
    2. ensure they have an active Linkt account with no overdue toll invoices at the time of the competition draw.

    Entrants who were automatically entered into a week of the Relevant Entry Period as a “New Linkt Customer” can enter into subsequent weeks during the Relevant Entry Period (if relevant) where they meet the “Existing Linkt Customer” criteria.

  3. Limit on number of entries

    1. Subject to Bonus Entry (section 8), only one entry is permitted per person per week during the Relevant Entry Period. One bonus entry is available per eligible Existing Linkt Customer per week during the Relevant Entry Period by following the steps in section 8 below.
    2. Entry into each week during the Relevant Entry Period must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements.
    3. Where individuals share an account, each individual listed on the account may enter separately.
  4. Bonus Entry

    To qualify for a bonus entry, an Existing Linkt Customer that meets the eligibility criteria in section 1 must enable Automatic Payments on their Linkt account by the Draw Date.

    Eligible customers who meet this requirement will receive one (1) bonus entry into the final draw to win the Major Prize.

    One bonus entry is available per eligible Linkt Customer.

  5. Limit on number of prizes

    1. An Entrant can win one Prize for each week they enter during the Relevant Entry Period and also the Major Prize.
    2. A maximum of nine prizes can be won during the Promotional Period (one in each of the eight weeks plus the Major Prize).
  6. Incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

  7. An entry must be received by the Promoter by the end of the Relevant Entry Period, or it will not be accepted. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter, not at the time of transmission by the entrant.

  8. The Promoter takes no responsibility should a person not have the software, hardware or mobile plan that permits access to, and use of, the method of entry. Any costs associated with accessing the internet, downloading data on a mobile device, or using any device to access and use the method of entry is the sole responsibility of the entrant and is dependent on the Internet/mobile service provider used.

  9. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for:

    1. any late, lost, or misdirected entries or other communications; or
    2. any internet traffic congestion or problems with, or technical malfunction of, any hardware or software, including but not limited to any damage to the hardware or software of any entrant or other persons related to participation in the Promotion.
  10. Entrants must not:

    1. tamper with the entry process;
    2. engage in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion;
    3. use multiple aliases, email addresses, postal addresses, PO Box addresses and/or SIM cards to register multiple qualifying accounts or use any form of software or third-party application to enter multiple times (including scripting software) except where expressly permitted in these Terms; and
    4. engage in conduct in entering the Promotion which, in the opinion of Promoter, is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who breaches these Terms, including but not limited to providing false information, failing to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering, or tampering with the Promotion.

  12. Entries remain the property of the Promoter.

Prizes

  1. There is a maximum of 8,089 prizes (each a Prize) for a total prize pool value of $363,714 consisting of:

  2. If a winner ceases to meet the eligibility requirements set out in paragraph 1 or 2 (as relevant) after entering the Promotion and before the Draw, the Prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize.

  3. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prize values are:

    1. in Australian dollars; and
    2. based on the recommended retail prices at the time of first publication of these Terms (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between the time of first publication of these Terms and the ultimate prize redemption date.
  4. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a Prize or any element of a Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that Prize, or an element of that Prize, another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion).

  5. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a Prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.

Prize Specific Terms

  1. Major Prize: Volkswagen ID. Buzz Pro

    1. The Major Prize is an ID. Buzz Pro (SWB) in Candy White/Bay Leaf Green Metallic (the Major Prize). The Major Prize value is approximately $83,714 (including GST), based on the MY26 Manufacturer’s Recommended Driveaway Price. Where pricing has not been finalised due to a model year changeover, final vehicle specifications and value may vary depending on MY26 pricing and availability at the time of delivery. Unless otherwise stated, the Prize includes the manufacturer’s standard 5 Year Warranty/8 Year Battery warranty and on road costs, including stamp duty, registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance, and dealer delivery.
    2. The Major Prize must be collected from the winners nearest authorised Volkswagen Dealer (the Collection Location), unless otherwise agreed. The winner is responsible for all costs associated with the Major Prize not expressly included. Excluded costs are (without limitation) electricity and other charging costs, comprehensive insurance, ongoing maintenance, damage, or any other costs or liabilities arising from the date of collection. Any expenses incurred in travelling to and from the Collection Location are the responsibility of the winner. Where the winner requests delivery or resides outside VIC, NSW or QLD, all delivery or transport costs will be borne by the winner.
    3. If the nominated winner is unable, for any legal or other reason, to register the Major Prize in their own name, the winner may nominate another person (who consents and has legal capacity) for the purpose of registration. The Promoter and Major Prize Supplier take no responsibility for arrangements between the winner and any nominated party. The winner must provide certified copies of all documentation reasonably required by the Promoter or Major Prize Supplier. As a condition of accepting the Major Prize, the winner (or their representative) may be required to execute a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter.
    4. The Major Prize must be taken as specified, or it will be deemed forfeited without replacement. If the Major Prize is forfeited or unavailable for any reason, no cash or alternative will be provided, except where required by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any variation in the Major Prize value.
  2. First Prize: $10,000 Bank Deposit (via EFT)

    Before the bank transfer is made, the First Prize winner must:

    1. Attend a validation video call with an authorised representative of the Promoter (being an employee of Handling Matters) and show a form of valid photo identification that includes their full name and address, so it can be matched to the details on their Linkt account to verify their identity. In the case that that the First Prize winner cannot verify their identity, they will forfeit their right to the Prize; and
    2. On the validation video call, provide their nominated Australian bank account details (account name, BSB and account number) to the authorised representative of the Promoter.

    The First Prize will only be deposited into one Australian bank account. Each First Prize winner is solely responsible for ensuring their nominated bank account details are correct.

    The deposit may take up to 30 business days from the date that valid bank details are provided.

  3. Second Prize: $500 Digital Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard ®

    Second Prize winners will receive an email containing their $500 Digital Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard and instructions on how to add it to their smartphone wallet. The individual downloads and opens the Vault Payment Solutions app, enters their mobile number and the activation code (contained in email). The individual then adds the Mastercard to their mobile wallet. Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercards can generally be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted, subject to any merchant-specific restrictions.

    Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Digital Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard are not included. The Digital Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard must be activated within 2 months of issue and is valid for 12 months after activation. At expiry of the Digital Vault Pays-enabled Mastercard any unused balance will be forfeited. Eligible Customers will not receive notice prior to expiry. Card expiry and balance can be found on your mobile device in the Vault Payments app. The digital Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard is issued by Vault Payment Solutions Group Pty Ltd pursuant to an intermediary authorisation between Vault and Flexewallet Pty Ltd AFSL 448066. See www.vaultps.com.au/termsfor terms and conditions. Mastercard and the circles design are registered trademarks of Mastercard International Incorporated.

    The Digital Vault Pays‑enabled Prepaid Mastercard can’t be used to pay for toll payments owed to Linkt or to add credit to a Linkt account.

  4. Third Prize: $20 toll credit

    1. Toll credits will be applied to the winner’s Linkt account within 10 business days of the Draw Date.
    2. Customers will be able to view their toll credits by selecting ‘payment history’ when they login online or via the Linkt app.
    3. Toll credits will be added to the winner’s Linkt account balance and will not expire.
    4. Linkt toll credits cannot be transferred to another account.

Prize Draw

  1. Entries for each week during the Relevant Entry Period open and close at the time and on the date outlined in the table below.

  2. The Draw will take place at 12pm AEST on 23 July 2026 (Draw Date) at Transurban Limited, Tower Five, Collins Square, 727 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008.

  1. All winners will be randomly drawn by an electronic draw process on the Draw Date from all entries received during the Relevant Entry Period.

  2. An independent scrutineer will be present to supervise the draw and will not be associated with the Promoter or otherwise involved in the conduct of the Promotion.

  3. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be included in the prize draws. Weekly prizes will be drawn in a single consolidated draw conducted on the Draw Date. The draws will be conducted in chronological order, beginning with entries received during the first week (First Prize, Second Prizes, Third Prizes for the first week), followed by entries received during the second week (First Prize, Second Prizes, Third Prizes for the second week) and so on, through to entries received during the eighth week. For each week during the Relevant Entry Period:

    1. the first valid entry drawn will win the First Prize;
    2. the next 10 valid entry drawn will win the Second Prize; and
    3. the next 1,000 valid entries drawn will each win a Third Prize.

    Following the completion of all weekly prize draws, all valid entries received during the Promotion Period (including any bonus entries) will be included in the Major Prize draw, from which one (1) winner will be drawn to receive the Major Prize.

  4. Entries submitted for a particular week will only be eligible to win a Prize for that week and will not be entered into any subsequent week unless the entrant has entered the Competition in subsequent weeks.

How winners will be notified

  1. The Major Prize winner will be notified by phone call using the phone number on their Linkt account and then emailed using the email address on their Linkt account within 7 business days of the Draw Date. Major Prize winners must confirm acceptance of their Prize during the phone call or by reply email.

  2. First Prize winners will be notified by phone call using the phone number on their Linkt account and then emailed using the email address on their Linkt account within 7 business days of the Draw Date. First Prize winners must confirm acceptance of their Prize during the phone call or by reply email.

  3. Second and Third winners will be notified by email using the email address on their Linkt account within 7 business days of the Draw Date.

  4. The Promoter has engaged VML Australia and Handling Matters to assist in prize fulfilment.

  5. The Promoter will make all reasonable attempts to identify and contact all Prize winners.

  6. The Major Prize winner’s and each First Prize winner’s first name, first initial of their surname and postcode (ie. John Smith of Docklands will be displayed as John S. 3008) will be published at https://www.linkt.com.au/bigbuzz within 7 business days of the Draw Date for a minimum of 28 days.

Second Chance Draw

  1. Subject to applicable law, in the event that:

    1. a Major Prize winner or First Prize winner cannot be identified or contacted on or before 5pm AEST on 24 August 2026, despite all reasonable attempts to do so by the Promoter; or
    2. a Major Prize and First Prize is unclaimed by that time for any other reason whatsoever (including because the winner has forfeited their right to the Prize, the winner does not accept and claim the Prize in accordance with paragraph 31, the winner or the winning entry does not comply with these Terms, or otherwise),

    the Promoter will conduct a Second Chance Draw in order to determine a second chance winner (Second Chance Winner) for each unclaimed Major and First Prize. The Second Chance Draw will be conducted in the same manner as the original Prize Draw (subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority).

  2. If required, a Second Chance Draw will take place at 12pm AEST on Thursday 27 August 2026 at Transurban Limited, Tower Five, Collins Square, 727 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008.

  3. The Second Chance Winner will be notified by phone call using the phone number on their Linkt account and then emailed using the email address on their Linkt account within 7 days of the Draw Date. The Prize Winner must confirm acceptance of their Prize during the phone call or by reply email.

  4. Where a Second Chance Prize winner wins the Major Prize or a First Prize, that winner’s initial of their first name, surname and postcode will be published at https://www.linkt.com.au/bigbuzz within 7 business days of the Draw Date for a minimum of 28 days.

  5. If after the Second Chance Draw any Prize remains unclaimed for any reason, the Promoter may dispose of the Prize as it sees fit (subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority).

    The decision of the Promoter is final and binding; no correspondence will be entered into.

Personal information

  1. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting the Promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of conducting the Promotion), for promotional purposes surrounding the Promotion, and as otherwise set out in the Terms.

  2. New Linkt Customers who have been automatically entered into the competition may opt out of the Promotion by emailing competitions@linkt.com.au.

  3. Major and First Prize winner’s first name, last name, email and mobile number will be disclosed to VML Australia or Handling Matters for the purpose of prize fulfilment.

  4. Entrants’ personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at Transurban Privacy Policy.

  5. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter via email at privacy@transurban.com or phone at 13 33 31.

  6. By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood how their information will be used and disclosed by the Promoter and that this use and disclosure will be without any further reference or payment to the entrants.

Governing law

  1. The agreement which comes into force under these Terms is governed by, and must be construed in accordance with, the laws in force in Victoria, Australia and the Promoter and any consumer who participates in the Promotion submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State in respect of all matters arising out of or relating to these Terms, and the performance or subject matter of the Promotion.

Limitation of liability

  1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) will not be responsible for any acts of god, acts of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared), state of emergency, disaster, technical failures, security breaches, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, computer viruses or other events beyond the Promoter’s control which affect the proper or reasonably anticipated conduct or administration of the Promotion, or prevent the awarding of the Prize in accordance with these Terms. If such an event occurs, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

  2. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies the statutory consumer guarantees provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or any other implied warranties under any legislation in Australia. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including for negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) arising in any way out of the Promotion, including but not limited to where such injury, loss or damage arises out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in the Prize value to that stated in these Terms; (e) any tax liability incurred by an Entrant or a winner; (f) participation in the Promotion or any component of the Prize by an Entrant or a winner; (g) the conduct, act or omission of any service provider or prize supplier associated with the Promotion; or (h) cancellation or postponement of any portion of the Prize for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
